THE LENTEN SEASON...

Peace and grace be with you, dear friends!

video

I am feeling a bit more human and therefore have been trying to make productive use of my "couch time." As I have mentioned before, Lent is always a very special season for me...and this one will be no different, although I have more things planned than is my typical...AND I'm starting off with a slow recovery from this dread plague. Literally off my feet and out of commission for over two weeks?!? And not feeling well enough to utilize the many hours afforded me...has left me feeling behind before I begin! I have therefore determined to adopt an "Indiana Jones" attitude and forge onward!

For those of you who may be local and interested, here is a schedule of coming Lenten attractions!

Sunday March 6: Introductory Lenten Study Class Session. Sister Paula Clare will be leading this study  using a devotional guide from the Mosaic Bible...an eclectic, contemporary look at scripture using a study which speaks more to the creative heart than the head. Our study will include readings from world renown authors, scripture reading from the Bible, liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer, and artwork and music from around the globe. Study guides are $2.99 ea and will be available in class. Class begins at 9 AM March 6 and will conclude Sunday, April 17.

The movie played at theaters across the U.S., to rave reviews by both audiences and critics. Please bring your Bible and a journal and/or any creative tools that may be utilized during your time of silence and solitude.
